Nick Kavadellas
President and CEO
Nick brings more than 32 years of sales and management experience in software and service industries to his role as President and CEO where he guides the strategic direction of the firm and maintains a pulse on the development and delivery of services.
Prior to founding Orasi in 2002, Nick was the Executive VP of Software Product Divisions at Starbase, where he established executive product direction and integration strategies for the company’s suite of applications. Immediately prior to Starbase, he was the Founder and CEO of Technology Builders, Inc. (TBI); where he grew the company to $30 million with more than 750 clients.
Before he founded TBI, Nick was the VP of Sales for KnowledgeWare, where he led the southern region sales team in successful corporate complex solution selling; personally and consistently demonstrating over-quota performance in providing application development tools and services to Fortune 500 organizations. Prior to that, he was the regional manager at Computer Associates (CA) for 3 years.
Nick was instrumental in creating the Cobb Football League (CFL), which has grown from 5 to 16 high schools since its inception. He has also served as the treasurer for the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA) for the last 10 years.
Nick earned a B.A. in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He lives in Woodstock with Lisa, his wife of 34 years, and has three daughters: Alexandra (27), Katie (25) and Caroline (23). He also recently welcomed his first grandchild.

James Azar
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
In his role as SVP and CTO, James is charged with oversight of service delivery, technology evaluation and strategic planning.
A 35-year veteran of the software and services industry, James came to Orasi from Starbase where he served as Vice President of the Caliber division. Prior to Starbase, Azar was a co-founder of Technology Builders, Inc. (TBI), where he was credited with building the original CaliberRM requirements management tool and led the engineering and product development teams to the ultimate delivery of that commercial software application. Before joining TBI, James worked for Computer Associates (CA).
James earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Alabama, College of Engineering, where he was named to the Deans’ Leadership Board. He furthered his education with advanced and continuing studies at Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon and Auburn University at Montgomery.
James has been published in both IEEE and ACM. He lives in Marietta with his wife and has three children, one of whom is serving in the U.S. Marines.

Mark Lewis
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
As one of the individuals who formed Orasi in 2002, Mark brings 30 years’ experience in enterprise software and services sales experience to the company. He is responsible for oversight of the field sales and inside sales organizations, as well as marketing.
Prior to joining Orasi, Mark was the Vice President of Sales for Technology Builders, Inc. He’s also served as the VP of Professional Services for Starbase and as a Senior Account Executive for KnowledgeWare Corporation.
Mark earned a B.S. in Finance from East Tennessee State University. He enjoys golfing, boating, travel, and spending time with his wife, five children, two dogs and two cats.

Karl Rubin
coO
Karl brings more than 30 years’ experience to his role as COO, where he is charged with management of all the operations functions as well as the Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) group.
In addition, Karl runs the support division, which he formed in 2008. This group provides support for more than 400 customers and was recognized in multiple years for their excellent service as the HP Software Support Partner of the Year.
Prior to joining Orasi, Karl was Director of CaliberRM Engineering at Borland Software, Inc., where he coordinated the efforts of Software Development, Quality Assurance and Product Management teams to establish CaliberRM, an award-winning enterprise requirements management system, as the market leader.
Karl earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University, and served in the USAF Reserves as a Staff Sergeant.
In his free time, Karl enjoys golfing, cooking on the BGE, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
