Kennesaw, GA – April 23, 2014-
Orasi, an Atlanta-based quality assurance software reseller and professional services company, today announced it has expanded its partnership with Skytap
, the leading provider of self-service application development environments in the cloud. Under the terms of the agreement, Orasi will join the Skytap TapIn Partner Program
and resell the company’s dev/test SaaS solution.
The reseller agreement is an extension of Skytap’s existing partnership with Orasi. Since 2012, Skytap has powered Orasi CloudPerform
, a solution that facilitates performance testing for a broad range of web applications and helps software development teams shorten release cycles by eliminating the complexity and cost of building on-premise specialized testing environments.
Skytap’s SaaS solution is purpose-built for enterprise software dev/test teams needing to build, test, and release better software in less time. Using Skytap, Orasi customers gain immediate access to on-demand dev/test environments; can create new or clone existing environments with a single click; and are able to identify, share, and reproduce software defects significantly faster. Customers can share these environments across globally dispersed teams and consultants to optimize collaboration.
“Orasi has been helping customers successfully implement and integrate software testing environments to reduce the cost and risk of software failures for over 11 years,” said Wayne Monk, vice president of Business Development and Alliances of SkyTap. “Combining Orasi’s deep experience in delivering proven quality management solutions with Skytap’s on-demand testing environments will provide their customers with a powerful competitive advantage in the race to deliver new features by building better software faster.”
Orasi will leverage many of the benefits of the new Skytap TapIn Partner Program to help them market, sell, deliver and support the Skytap Cloud service. The program provides rewarding margins; marketing development funds; joint sales assistance; sales and technical enablement; and strong marketing support to increase awareness and demand of the new Orasi offering.
“Our customers are looking to move their testing environments to the cloud to become more agile. With Skytap Cloud we’re able to offer enterprises an innovative service for development and test environments that eliminates most of the constraints and obstacles they experience with their software development lifecycle,” said Nick Kavadellas, president and CEO of Orasi Software. “Orasi is dedicated to providing our customers with best-of-class technology and services focused on application quality and testing. The Skytap partnership fits very well into our overall strategic vision.”
